It was wonderful getting to see my family in OKC. I must brag about them because of how much they have blessed me - all of them. I wish everyone could me my grandma. She is precious beyond words. I can remember driving from college just to lay my head in her lap and listen to her tell me everything will be ok. Talking to her - as a child and grown woman - has always been a highlight for me. She is wise, humble, gentle and has a sense of humor. Her house is the most calming place I have found so far - have you ever walked into a place and instantly felt everything slow down and the weight just fall off your shoulders - that's my grandmas. Maybe it's because life is so simple there and I know what unconditional love surrounds her - maybe it's the memories - whatever it is, I love it and cherish the times I get to visit.
