So this is a ridiculous amount of pics - but I couldn't resist:)! We got a chance to serve (well - my hubby did) by grilling with our chruch as an outreach to our community. He and Robert Cooper, and Charlie Benedict grilled over 200 lbs of meat at our tent alone - and there were ove 5 other tents going! One of the many great aspects of it - was that it was put on by all of the local chruchs - so we had a ton of people getting together to serve eachother and others just like Christ. What an awesome opportunity!
On the pics - introducing our dear friend and adorable little girl (Heidi Blackert) the one pictured with my son. Her family and ours are dear friends(also pictured is Barb w/ Heidi and Eve and I) and I couldn't imagine life here without them. Sometimes God places incredible people in our path so that we might grow, be encouraged, be held accountable and loved on and the Blackerts are definately that for us.
Our dearest friends the Coopers are also pictured - Robert and Linda flew into our lives like angels that God sent for us. They have and are a God send for us as friends that has grown into family!
The little boy pictured is Luke - he is just 1 day younger than our son Johnathon - they were actually born in rooms next door and that is how we met:)! The Benedicts are an amazing family that we are blessed to know and love to be around.
So - sorry for the crazy introductions - but I've noticed I rarely have anyone else on here but us and wanted to make sure that these people who have so touched our lives are captured here for us to always remember and these times that we will always cherish.
